Sorry for the radio silence on here but I’ve had somewhat of a blog holiday, it started as a technical hitch and before I knew it the blog was on the back burner for a few months. In that time I did go on quite an epic month long road trip around West Coast America (take me back now!!) if you are one of the many that has asked me to do a road trip write up it is in the pipeline and now my writing mojo is back you won’t have to wait long I promise.
I thought I would start with a run down of pieces that I have either bought or that are firmly on my wish list. I have recently ebayed half my wardrobe as I wasn’t wearing so much of it and am now going to treat myself to a few investment pieces that will form part of a capsule that I’ll wear forever…
These stunning flats are now in my wardrobe after I treated myself the other day. I have been looking for the perfect lace up flat for some time as I struggle with the fit of a flat shoe, these were perfect and ticked all the boxes. They are only £69 from Office and are leather
I am forever on the hunt for the perfect maxi dress and this one offers up all the Autumnal feels, would look great with boots and also with a chunky knit thrown over – &otherstories £89
Arket have nailed knitwear this season, the quality is amazing and the price point is not too eye watering. They have everything from Merino to Alpaca in the full AW palette – This oversized Alpaca/Merino Blend is the perfect oversized shape which would look amazing over a pair of leather leggings or skinny jeans – Arket £79 – available in other colours
A total treat but one that would be in your wardrobe a lifetime, this blazer is perfection! Wool and Flannel mix military style from Me+Em £299
Textures are key this time of year, don’t be afraid to mix them. I love the look of these Topshop corduroy slouch trousers, they would be fab with a heel, boot, trainer and even the flat lace up shown above – Topshop £36
The perfect option for an effortless look. Add a lace trim cami, black jeans and a metallic heel you’ll look super stylish but with minimal effort. Topshop £35
Velvet for the festive season is not revolutionary but if you don’t yet own a black velvet blazer this Mango option is stunning! The perfect jacket to take you through the party season, thrown over dresses or paired with jeans it is a total winner –
I couldn’t not mention this whole look from The White Company as I just simply adore it! The perfect coat and the perfect hat!!
Coat – £269 (they have low stock)
Jumper – £149
Jeans – £79
Boots – £129
Hat – £95
