A touch of red

So you are probably getting fed up with me and everyone else banging on about the colour red but I love it and I think I need to wear it as much as I can before the next “it” colour comes on the scene and red is a distant memory!

I just love it and the effect it has on my face and mood and by that I mean deter the eyes away from my bags! It’s been a  long week already (it’s only Tuesday) due to a little one with a nasty sickness bug and I must say the power the red has had on my tired face is unbelievable!

I wore a tomato red jumper for lunch at The Ned today and had some lovely compliments, although this one is old, I thought I would hunt out my favourites around at the moment so you can keep one in the wardrobe for those days you just need a bit of a mood enhancer..

Great article. It took me a lot of experimenting (40-odd years, in fact) to find the right shade of red for me (true scarlet as I’m cooler toned). Tomato-red makes me look like I’m recovering from gastroenteritis 🙁
