the wardrobe staple jean

Jeans are the ultimate wardrobe staple, finding “the” pair can sometimes prove to be a difficult task but when you do you re buy again and again. My go to brands have not changed for quite some time, I have three stores that I always seem to end up in although I do try to deviate sometimes and fail! My top three are Topshop for the best highstreet option, Levi’s for my classic straight cut and Acne Studio’s for the best quality splurge.

We are lucky that now days there are so many options from the cut to embellishments, jeans can now become your statement rather than just a casual safety blanket. Below are my favourite finds…

MOTO Limited edition blossom beaded Lucas jeans £75 – Buy here
MOTO black fringe hem Jamie’s £46 – Buy here
I love this style and would be a great spring transitional pair due to the cropped cut. I styled mine with a Christmas jumper and a sparkly shoe for a fun Christmas look.
MOTO fringe hem straight cut £46- Buy here
These are the same finish as above but are straight cut rather than skinny so not as tight on the leg.
MOTO Indigo let down hem Jamie’s £42 – Buy here
MOTO Authentic blue Jamie’s £40 – Buy here
The Jamie has been my go to highstreet skinny for many years. Great fit and with a little stretch making them perfect for rushing about and sitting on the floor with little ones!
MOTO washed black Hayden boyfriend jeans £40 – Buy here
MOTO Pearl embellished mom jeans £65 – Buy here
Levi’s 711 skinny high-rise £90 – Buy here
I bought this pair in New York’s black friday madness but they are a true classic and fit my shape perfectly. My weight all clings to my derriere so if  this is you then these are the cut to go for.
River Island ripped western bet mom jeans £30 – Buy here
River Island Black washed star print £30 – Buy here
River Island light blue ripped boyfriend jeans £30 – Buy here
Acne Studios Skin 5 skinny jeans £180 – Buy here
Acne Studios are my favourite of the higher price point jeans, they are great quality thick denim which lasts many many washes. They are definitely worth splurge and they do not bag in any way and hold you in all the right places.

Acne Studios straight cut £200 – Buy here
Also a big thank you to my lovely models Natalie and Laura from Mums The Word, my fashion partner in crime Victoria Genevieve and I recently took over their Instagram feed and found the best of what Topshop had to offer for the party season. It was such a fun day and we found some amazing party pieces, I have linked all other items below and you can also find some of the beautiful dresses in my shop page for a little festive inspiration.
