Paris is always a good idea!

I was recently invited by Wallis to spend a night in one of my favourite cities with a group of lovely bloggers Emma, Jess and Tatyana. We were asked to style up a coat each from their new autumn collection, the blush pink style that I wore was stunning and has since made it’s way into my wardrobe, it will be available to buy in mid October so keep your eyes peeled.

I just love Paris anytime of the year, it is one of my all time favourite places, there is always a new road to discover, a cafe to be sat in and a cake to be eaten! I thought i’d give you all a rundown of what we got up to, where we stayed and what we ate…

We stayed at the brand new Hoxton Hotel in Rue Du Sentier, it’s an absolutely perfect location as it is walking distance to most of the main tourist spots and also very close to a the Metro station of Grands Boulevards. This hotel is an interior design dream, so much thought has been put into each chair, light fitting and every small detail you won’t want to go out. The Lobby bar serves amazing cocktails and the Revie restaurant is buzzing, atmospheric and the steak tartar is unbelievable! We ended our evening with a nightcap in Jacques Bar upstairs which has a super cool speakeasy feel.

There was a fab bar not far from the hotel called Le Brebant which I have been to with the hubby before but also spotted on the fab Anna Hart’s recent blog post, it’s quirky and has the best heated outdoor seating, perfect for people watching.

Last time we went to Paris at the beginning of the year we went to an amazing restaurant  which I will never forget called Bouillon Chatier (also on Anna’s blog post) sadly we didn’t get to eat there this time but if you go to Paris you have to go! There may be a queue but stick with it as boy is it worth it, it’s like stepping back in time, the decor hasn’t changed and I hope it never does! The food is great an a meal for two people with 3 courses and a bottle of wine is around 50 euros!!

Shop my look from the Wallis shoot although the coat is not available just yet

This beautiful red galaxy skirt is by the very talented designed Olivia Rubin and has just hit her new collection available online here

The most beautiful Chanel shop I have ever visited! If you want to take a photo of this iconic shop located in the listed Hotel Amelot de Bisseuil in the trendy Marais district then be quick as it is only open until May 2018

There is no such thing as a bad back drop in Paris, look at this dilapidated old door…it doesn’t get much better!

I have a huge crush on maxi skirts at the moment, flattering and easy to wear. They can be dressed down with tees, chunky knits and trainers or with a heel and cami for an evening out, the perfect autumn/winter wardrobe staple and i’m going to be adding a few more to the collection. Although not great if you walk over windy man holes, I may have had a Marilyn moment on the Parisian streets which was slightly embarrassing!

Pink Mamma which is part of the Big Mamma group – This place is unreal and a total must visit if not for the mouth watering burrata but for the 4 floors of total instagram worthy decor! Each floor is decorated differently and even the stairwell is to die for, I could have snapped away for hours in here.
We started with some burrata and hams followed by pizza but if I go back I think I would have just stuck with more starters to share as they were just too good.

To curb the sugar craving and that all important cake or macaroon purchase while in Paris there is no other choice but Angelina, have the ultimate Carrie Bardshaw moment and sit in the tearoom or grab a takeout and wander across the street to the Garden Tuileries, pull up a deck chair and watch the world go by!

It is a sad moment…..the cult boutique Colette is closing down!! If you haven’t been and get a free weekend to get to Paris before it closes it’s doors in December then lucky you! Even Karl Lagerfeld loves this place and said it is the only boutique he frequently pops to.

The go to website for all your beauty needs IntoTheGloss.com‘s infamous skincare and beauty range Glossier is currently in store, the super cool brand is so in right now that you have to queue just to look at the shelves!!
